Introducing our Tufted Titmice Wood Carving. Handcrafted from beautiful hardwoods, this charming piece features the much beloved songbird in ornament form for year round display or as a magnet to bring a bit of nature into your home.

Dimensions are approximately 3" tall by 4.5" wide and weighs 1-2 oz. Made from 8 segments of chakte viga, maple, oak (ebonized) and Peruvian walnut. Intarsia is a mosaic art form that uses small segments of wood to make an image. We use varying depths and carving techniques to create a 3-D illusion. Each segment is carefully hand-cut on a scroll saw then individually shaped. After a quality check, the segments are glued together then attached to a backing board for added strength. No stains or dyes are used in the creation process unless otherwise noted. The work is finished with several coats of clear lacquer.
