Dimensions are approximately 4" by 2.5" and weighs 1-2 oz. Made from 12 segments of spalted hackberry, cherry, beech, and black walnut. If you do not require any hardware, please indicate this in the "note to seller" section during checkout. Grain and color will vary some. Item received may be left or right facing. This is a one sided item.

Intarsia is a mosaic art form that uses small segments of wood to make an image. We use varying depths and carving techniques to create a 3-D illusion. Each segment is carefully hand-cut on a scroll saw then individually shaped. After a quality check, the segments are glued together then attached to a backing board for added strength. No stains or dyes are used in the creation process unless otherwise noted. The work is finished with several coats of clear lacquer.
